Can I use my phone?

If you need to use for phone for work, you can absolutely do so in The Cave. 

However, our phones are designed to steal our focus and keep us scrolling, so we recommend some preventative measures. 

1. Enable Airplane Mode if possible.

2. Turn off pop-up notifications or enable "Do Not Disturb" Mode. 

3. Use a technology blocker to prevent you from using distracting apps. Here's our list of recommendations

4. If it's about receiving phone calls, get your phone out of sight. Research shows that having your phone in sight, even if turned off, can reduce your cognitive performance.
